I’ve always wanted to release a music album, and today I finally have done so. It’s called Insanity vs Reality, and to say I’m proud of it would be an understatement. It’s a diary of sorts of my life, which is why the underlying feeling behind all of the lyrics is fighting against the odds, which is my life story.
Every song on the album, the lyrics especially, I hope give a sense of that desire to never give up, to believe in yourself, and to fight for your dreams because you deserve to live them.
To talk about a few of the songs, the song Believe, which I’m especially proud of, I wrote as a message to my younger self, when I was at the deepest darkness of my injury problems. It’s me telling myself to not be afraid, to believe, because I’ve got your back and we’re gonna do this, live out our dreams. I hope the song resonates with others to that level, so I hope it inspires them believe that they can achieve anything.

You Are Beautiful, which was my first single, and I’m rereleasing as part of this album, is the story of me being bullied at school. It’s the message I would send to myself. Look in the mirror and let yourself be free.
You Can’t Hurt Me is about all the hate in the world right now. It says send the hate, but it won’t break me, it will make me because I will fight on.
Ocean of Despair is the story of a girl whom I lost, the one who took my heart.
Insanity was inspired by a poem I wrote. The story is that the only true insanity is living a life that is not true to yourself, so let go of the sanity and embrace your true reality.
Fight to Live is the story of a monster trying to hold you down, but you refusing to give.
All in all, there are 11 tracks on this album, and all are inspired by lyrics and poetry I’ve written over the years inspired by my life, which means this album is a long time coming.
Here are the full 11 tracks:
Track 1: Spread Your Wings – 03:09
Track 2: Believe – 03:33

What are my hopes for this album? I have no idea. I wrote it for fun, and as an outlet to get the stories from my head out of my head. Like I’ve already said, this song is a diary of sorts for my life, and every song tells a different story from a different times of my life. If people enjoy listening to the music, that would be amazing. If any bands out there wanted to play the music for real, that would be even more amazing.
In the end, I’m just happy I have an album out there, and if people listen to it, that will make it even more awesome. Thanks to all who do listen!
