Hot on the heels of my first and second singles, I’ve just released my third single, Dreaming of the Day.
I was inspired to write it by a tough parting of ways. I’d been seeing somebody, and we had an amazing connection, truly another level amazing. The first time we met was magical. The way we held each other, it was like we were lost lovers who had finally found each other after a lifetime apart.
It was crazy how much in common we had as well, history, psychology, an insatiable desire to understand the world and people. It was crazy how similar our way of thinking was as well, both of us had forever curious minds.
But we really connected on the creative level. I would say the most inspiring part of her was just how creative she was in thinking and how much empathy she had. The combination gave her a truly unique world perspective, which was fascinating to hear.
I’m diverging, life meant we had to part ways and Dreaming of the Day tells the story of the heartache that caused.
The same as with my first two singles, You Are Beautiful, and You’ll Never Be Lost, I created it using Suno AI. I input a piano inspiration, input the lyrics along with a prompt and then played around until I managed to create something that felt right.
The vocals are AI, hence why it’s female, and I was impressed with how the music came out as I intended from the piano inspiration I input. So, it’s my rhythm, my lyrics, and an AI vocalist bringing it to life. It truly is amazing what AI can do these days.
