Today is a very big day, as it is the day that the release date for my debut novel, Scorched Earth: The Library of Power, has been set.
23 October 2026.
All the stars are finally aligned, and everything is perfect for this date.
To say that I am happy about this would be an understatement. The release of this novel will be the fulfilling of a lifelong dream to publish a novel.
It has been a true battle to get it out there. I left school with very few qualifications and a very poor education, and it has taken many years of dedication to rectify this and learn to write.
The fact I suffered a severe hand and wrist injury, tearing the scapholunate ligament said both my wrists, which stopped me from using a keyboard and mouse, meaning I had to learn to write using voice dictation software, did not help me in this battle, but it also did not stop me.
Today is a real day of victory for me, because it is the day that I overcame my lack of education, my wrist injuries, and all the other health issues and roadblocks I have faced in making this happen.
