It eats away at you,

the monster within,

day by day you try,

but you just can’t win,

life turns to night,

day fades away,

the monster within,

it fights to have its way,

you try to hold on,

but you fear its ire,

it’s locked on to you,

hurt its only desire,

the monster within,

you can’t escape,

so just step back,

accept your fate.

Never.
